What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a Product Manager for the Material Flow System - the warehouse management and supply chain platform that powers material operations across Tesla's global factories, distribution centers, and service hubs. In this role, you will own the product vision and roadmap for the Material Flow System, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive end-to end solutions that improve inventory accuracy and optimize warehouse operations at scale.
What You'll Do-
Deliver process improvements, systems capabilities, and data insights critical to supporting increasing production volume and fleet size

Collaborate with planning, logistics, warehousing, and stakeholders across organizations to identify key process and systems improvements required for end-to-end scalability and efficiency

Identify gaps and areas for simplification, optimization, and automation in supply chain processes, software products, and systems

Partner with business stakeholders, customers, and Application Engineering teams to develop elegant, efficient solutions and product capabilities that support growth

Execute the supply chain products roadmap and lead business analysis, requirement definition and planning, product design, and quality assessment

Develop product communication and implementation plans for new offerings and changes, and drive implementation with internal customers and business leads

Define and monitor KPIs to track process operational performance and apply data-driven methodologies to assess product reliability, business needs, and priorities

Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain operations processes and internal products

Conduct benchmarking and technical due diligence to increase efficiency and scalability, reduce cost, and improve customer satisfaction across processes, products, and system
What You'll Bring-
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering Management, or a related field, and at least 3 years of related work experience

Subject matter expert in Warehouse Management Systems with direct hands-on experience

Experience in quantitative problem solving including data analytics or writing SQL

Experience with process improvement toolkits including Lean, Six Sigma (certification not required), or Kaizen
-
Experience in Agile methodology for product development

Strong analytical skills with the ability to query and interpret data, trends, and algorithms, demonstrating comfort with logic and numbers to support decision-making
-
Proactive mindset with a bias towards taking action based on available information and the ability to work through ambiguity

Track record of leading new initiatives, driving results with limited resources and evolving information

Exceptional communication and effective collaboration across cross-functional teams, balancing multiple competing priorities and fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders

Experience implementing AI solutions is a plus
