To support our finance team through an upcoming retirement transition, we are hiring a methodical and proactive German-Speaking Financial Specialist / Financial Administrator (m/f/d) on a permanent basis (full-time or part-time from 32 hours per week).

Role Transition: Complete a comprehensive knowledge transfer from the outgoing Senior Financial Administrator to ensure seamless operational continuity.

Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting functions for three sites in Germany, managing AP, AR, banking transactions, corporate cards, and expense reports.

Period-End Closing: Lead monthly financial closing procedures and collaborate on annual statement preparations.

Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison for tax consultants, auditors, and external advisory partners.

System & Process Enhancement: Leverage performance metrics to streamline administration, support digital workflows, and contribute to system updates (including SAP integration).

Corporate Reporting: Provide ongoing financial insights to the parent entity in the Netherlands and offer guidance to local operations.

Background: Educational foundation in accounting, business, or finance, or a completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., Steuerfachangestellte/r). Advanced credentials like Bilanzbuchhalter are desirable.

Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience handling full-cycle accounting within an SME setting.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern ERP platforms (such as SAP, Microsoft Business Central, or Navision) alongside strong MS Office skills. Prior experience with SAP deployment is beneficial.

Language Abilities: High proficiency in German, solid working knowledge of English (C1 level), and conversational Dutch as an added asset.

Attributes: Self-directed, methodical, and eager to drive improvements. Openness to occasional local travel between domestic facilities.

Salary: Base remuneration ranging between €50,000 and €65,000 gross p.a. (adjusted proportionally for part-time schedules).
