The Job:
As part of our Finance Planning & Analysis team, you'll be a trusted strategic partner to the Advertising and Real Estate businesses. You'll turn financial and commercial data into actionable insights, helping leaders make informed decisions, optimise investments, and drive sustainable growth. You'll also help improve planning and reporting processes by leveraging modern technologies, including AI. This is a hybrid role, our office is in Berlin-Charlottenburg. You report to the FP&A Lead.
- You bring 5–7 years of experience in FP&A, business planning, or a similar finance role, ideally within e-commerce, technology, or another fast-paced digital environment.
- You have strong financial modelling skills and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, and you enjoy translating complex data into meaningful business insights.
- You are comfortable using AI tools to automate routine tasks, enhance financial modelling, and improve planning and reporting processes.
- You build trusted relationships across functions, communicate clearly with stakeholders at different organisational levels, and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- You are proactive, well organised, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a dynamic environment.
- Lead the annual planning and budgeting process for the Advertising and Real Estate businesses, ensuring financial plans are realistic, data-driven, and aligned with strategic priorities and market trends.
- Develop rolling forecasts, build financial models, and evaluate pricing scenarios to support strategic decision-making, using AI tools where appropriate to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Analyse revenue, margin, and business performance, translating financial results into clear recommendations by considering market dynamics, competitive developments, and key performance indicators.
- Partner closely with business leaders, providing financial insights, constructively challenging assumptions, and helping teams achieve ambitious yet realistic goals.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities, while partnering with the Controllership and Accounting team to support an accurate month-end close.
- Continuously improve planning and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and increase efficiency through AI and other technologies.
