We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in the development of high-volume automotive key fobs (remote keys). This is not a general mechanical design position. We are specifically looking for engineers with proven experience in the design and development of automotive high-volume key fobs.

Your Responsibilities
As part of an international development team, you will be responsible for the complete mechanical design of automotive key fobs from concept through series production.
Your responsibilities include:
- Design and development of complete mechanical automotive key fobs using CATIA
- Design of housings, battery compartments and mechanical components
- Development of plastic and aluminum die-cast components
- Consideration of surface finish, aesthetics, ergonomics and tactile quality
- Close collaboration with electronics, RF, software and system engineering teams
- Development of robust high-volume production solutions
- Tolerance analysis and stack-up calculations
- Creation of CAD models, drawings and BOMs
- Support of prototype builds and sample coordination
Required Qualifications:
Applications will only be considered if you have proven experience in automotive high-volume key fob development.
Mandatory:
- Several years of experience designing high-volume automotive key fobs (remote keys)
- Strong CATIA design experience
- Extensive experience in mechanical product development
- Experience with plastic component design
- Experience with aluminum die-cast components
- Experience designing for tight gap and flush requirements
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Experience developing products for high-volume serial production
- Good communication skills in English (German is an advantage)

- Workload: Preferably full-time
- Number of Positions: 1–2 Senior Engineers
