We are looking for a Head of Strategic Intelligence (f/m/d) to lead one of the most strategically relevant capabilities within Siemens' Global Strategy Team.
In this role, you will shape how market, competitor, macroeconomic, and geopolitical intelligence informs strategic decision-making across Siemens. By combining advanced analytics, AI-enabled intelligence, and forward-looking insights, you will help create the foundation for confident and impactful strategic decisions.

Leading the Siemens-wide Strategic Intelligence capability that delivers forward-looking market, competitor, macroeconomic and geopolitical insights across Siemens.

Driving an integrated, AI-enabled way of working by demonstrating a common information backbone.

Steering the operation of the Common Market Model as the AI-enabled, integrated platform for market data and insights, covering market sizes, growth rates, and key trends.

Delivering macroeconomic trend analysis as a Siemens-wide capability.

Providing input for portfolio development and TAM expansion.

Identifying forward-looking trends and emerging growth fields in close collaboration with the strategy ecosystem.

Defining and maintaining the Competitor Basket as the common set of main competitors across Siemens.

Building AI-enabled, deep knowledge of main competitors, including their strategies, portfolios, and market positioning.

Monitoring ongoing changes in peer portfolios and significant technological advancements

Analyzing market shares, including wins and losses, based on a common, AI-enriched data set.

Managing the ecosystem of external partners, including market analysts and strategic research partners.
Your success is grounded in

Education
-
A university degree or equivalent in strategy, business, economics, data/analytics, engineering, IT, (computer / data) science or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) is an advantage

Experience & Skills

Several years of leadership experience in strategic intelligence, market research, competitive analysis, or a related (corporate) strategy function

A strong track record in building and scaling strategic intelligence capabilities, ideally in a complex, multi-business environment especially in digital and software markets

Hands-on experience with AI-enabled data platforms and tools for market and competitive analysis

Excellent partner management skills: you navigate across business, regional, and functional boundaries with ease

A forward-looking mentality with the ability to translate complex signals into clear, actionable strategic insights

Strong communication with credibility in senior strategic discussions

The ability to connect the dots across markets, competitors, technology trends, and macroeconomic developments into a coherent intelligence picture
