Systems Engineer (m/f/d) - Navigation
Your Tasks
Responsible for the analysis, definition, derivation, and management of system and subsystem requirements, ensuring completeness, consistency, and verifiability while considering cost and verification impacts
Coordinate system architectures and technical interfaces, and assess design concepts with respect to requirements, risks, costs and schedules
Lead and support development and design activities, including technical analyses to demonstrate compliance with specified system requirements
Support and contribute to system design reviews, verification planning, and the preparation and management of system-level technical budgets
Prepare test specifications and support the definition, execution, and evaluation of verification and testing activities to demonstrate requirement compliance
Contribute to the preparation and execution of Launch and Early Orbit Phase and In-Orbit Test activities
Your Qualifications
Successfully completed degree (Master’s, Diploma, or PhD) in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a comparable discipline
Extensive experience in the design, development, and system engineering of spacecraft, space equipment, and related subsystems
Proven expertise in at least one systems engineering domain, such as Mission Analysis, Spacecraft Operations, System Design, System Analysis, Interface Engineering, Requirements Engineering & Management, Verification & Validation, or Engineering Coordination
Strong analytical and technical judgment skills combined with a holistic systems perspective and a solution- and cost-oriented mindset
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, flexibility in addressing technical challenges, and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments
