What to Expect
As a Senior Material Flow Technician, you will oversee and lead high-impact intralogistics changes, mentor Associate Technicians and collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to optimize material flow strategies. You’ll handle urgent, large-scale transitions (e.g., coordinated changes, production batch swaps) and ensure alignment with long-term operational goals. This role requires deep technical expertise, proactive problem-solving and the ability to work across shifts to support 24/7 production needs.
What You'll Do-
Hands-on execution: Directly perform Associate-level tasks (e.g.: trial material flow adjustments, urgent hard cuts) when required to meet deadlines or resolve critical issues.

Lead complex line-side changes: Own end-to-end implementation of critical layout adjustments, material routing updates and system configuration changes in MFS ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards.

Mentor Associate Technicians: Train and guide junior team members in executing changes, troubleshooting issues and applying structured problem-solving methodologies.

Optimize batch swaps: Design and execute material flow adjustments for production variant shifts. Ensuring line side Swap are being executed.

Drive special process improvements: Spearhead pilot production setups, obsolete part phase-outs and special complex topics like IPs, Wheels and batteries.
What You'll Bring-
Advanced technical expertise: 5+ years in intralogistics/material flow roles, with full proficiency in all Associate-level tasks (e.g., MFS, trial material management, urgent delivery coordination and all kind of changes).

Leadership experience: Proven track record in mentoring junior technicians, leading cross-functional initiatives and managing stakeholder expectations.

Strategic problem-solving: Ability to break down systemic issues into actionable plans and drive resolution.

Process optimization skills: Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and data-driven methodologies to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
