As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in generating and qualifying leads and converting them into participants or clients for executive education programs.
You will operate at the intersection of B2C and B2B sales: advising individual professionals on their development journey while also engaging with HR, L&D, and business leaders to build long-term partnerships.
You will take ownership of a portfolio of programs and contribute directly to their commercial success. You will also build up and deepen client relationships to generate business for ESMT.
Your responsibilities
1. Drive participant acquisition and conversion

Engage with prospective participants (e.g., brochure downloads, inquiries), conduct consultative conversations and guide them through the decision-making process

Convert leads into enrolled participants across executive education offerings, ensuring a seamless handover where relevant.
2. Manage and grow client relationships

Develop and deepen relationships with existing corporate clients (e.g., across business units, leadership levels, and functions)

Identify cross-selling opportunities across ESMT’s program portfolio
3. Acquire new clients and markets

Proactively identify, prioritize and approach new organizations and target segments

Leverage alumni networks, events, and outreach campaigns to generate new business opportunities
4. Collaborate internally and shape offerings

Collaborate closely with Admissions, Marketing, Program Directors, and Key Account Managers to ensure a coordinated and high-impact client approach

Share market insights and client feedback to help refine program offerings
