You own the commercial layer across Learnfield's piano learning apps — and you will build new products for new audiences.
Your starting point is monetization and engagement, treated as one system. You are responsible for how learners experience the path from first touch to long-term subscriber: onboarding, paywalls, pricing, engagement loops, habit formation, and lifecycle. Multiple apps, multiple brands, multiple user journeys.
As our portfolio grows, you take end-to-end ownership of new standalone products for new segments. You don't just optimize funnels. You define the product, the audience, the experience, and the monetization.
This requires someone who deeply understands user psychology, habit formation, and what keeps people engaged over time — and who brings strong, hands-on experience in subscription monetization. If you are equally excited by what makes a learner come back tomorrow and what makes a paywall convert today, this role is for you.
You have a real passion for AI tools: building prototypes, running experiments, analyzing data, personalizing experiences. You bring new thinking on AI-first product work and model this mindset for others.
Own the conversion funnel across all Learnfield apps — web and mobile: onboarding, paywall, free trial, pricing, post-trial retention. You are accountable for conversion rate, ARPU, LTV, trial-to-paid, and churn.
Design and run A/B experiments at high velocity: paywalls, pricing, engagement mechanics, onboarding flows. Hypotheses, setup, analysis, decisions.
Design and optimize engagement systems: streaks, rewards, progression, re-engagement triggers. Treat retention and monetization as one discipline.
Own the commercial setup for new apps and partner products. Each may have different pricing, conversion logic, and user context.
Take end-to-end ownership of new standalone learning products: define the product, the audience, the experience, and the monetization. Build, validate, kill or scale.
Lead product discovery: user interviews, cohort analysis, market research. Identify the riskiest assumptions and test them before committing engineering resources.
Build functional prototypes using AI coding tools. Paywall variants, onboarding flows, new product concepts.
Manage subscription products and 3rd party tool relationships: App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, Intercom.
Keep stakeholders aligned behind shared goals: engineering, design, marketing, other POs, and external partners. Motivate your team. Be a people person.
Own outcomes for the Commercial squad. Report to the CPO/CEO. Collaborate closely with marketing on lifecycle, CRM, and growth initiatives.
5+ years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2–3 years in a product ownership or product management role. Backgrounds combining product with marketing, growth, or commercial functions are strongly welcomed.
Strong, hands-on experience in subscription monetization: paywalls, free trials, pricing, conversion optimization, LTV, churn reduction. This is the core commercial competency.
Experience designing for engagement, retention, and habit formation in consumer apps. Understanding of user psychology, gamification, motivation mechanics, and engagement loops.
Outcome-oriented and entrepreneurial. You take ownership of results, not tasks. You don't wait to be told what to build.
Strong product discovery skills: you go from user problem to hypothesis to test to decision, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
A real passion for AI tools in product work: prototyping, analysis, writing, experimentation. You bring new insights and model the AI-first mindset for others.
Ability to build functional prototypes with AI coding tools, or strong motivation to develop this rapidly.
Experience with learning a musical instrument. You understand the learner's journey: what motivates beginners, what makes them quit, what keeps them coming back.
Proven ability to align stakeholders, communicate with clarity, and lead cross-functional teams with empathy and energy.
Analytics and tools fluency: Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent. Jira, Confluence, Figma.
Excellent English.
