A Snapshot of Your Day
As Head of Internal Controls – Financial Reporting and Integrity, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of Siemens Energy's financial processes and reporting. Working closely with Finance leadership, you will oversee controls across Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, and Fixed Assets, ensuring a strong and efficient control framework that supports transparency, compliance, and trust. You will drive the evolution from traditional compliance-focused controls toward a more automated, risk-based, and data-driven assurance environment. We are building a future-ready Internal Controls organization. We are looking for leaders who move beyond traditional control testing and act as strategic partners in risk mitigation, process excellence, digital transformation, and business performance. This role reports to the head of Internal Controls.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Safeguard the integrity and reliability of financial reporting processes across the organization

Lead the continuous enhancement of the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework

Partner with Finance leadership to strengthen governance, transparency, and compliance

Drive standardization and automation of key financial controls and monitoring activities

Utilize data-driven assurance techniques to improve risk identification and control effectiveness

Support strategic initiatives while maintaining robust financial risk management practices

Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Audit, and Digital teams to deliver integrated assurance

Promote a culture of accountability, control ownership, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

10+ years of experience in Financial Controls, ICFR, Internal Audit, External Audit, Risk Management, or Controllership functions

Strong knowledge of financial reporting processes, accounting principles, governance, and control frameworks

Experience with Treasury, Tax, Record-to-Report, and financial close processes

Proven ability to drive automation and process improvements in finance environments

Strong analytical mindset and stakeholder management skills as well as excellent communication and leadership capabilities

CPA, CA, ACCA, CIA, or similar professional qualification preferred

Fluent English is required
