are responsible for the pre-assembly and integration of mechanical components such as brackets, spacers, and fastening systems
-
install and route electrical components within complex system architectures
-
integrate test and measurement equipment, including sensors, thermistors, heaters, and accelerometers
-
perform electrical and mechanical assembly work in accordance with space industry standards
-
support verification, testing, and quality assurance activities
Qualifications

-
fulfill the general V.I.E program requirements (EU-graduate, aged between 18 and 28 years)
-
have successfully completed training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., technician) or a comparable qualification
-
have hands-on experience with cabling and connection technologies such as crimping, clamping, and soldering
-
are familiar with electrical integration, including connectors, grounding systems, and wiring
-
have experience using mechanical assembly tools like torque tools and fastening systems
-
are experienced in handling measurement and test equipment, including sensor systems and temperature measurement tools
-
ideally have knowledge of ESA-certified processes in electrical and mechanical integration
-
have strong communication skills in English, German is a plus and a collaborative approach
