Elyra is a Berlin-based AI startup building the next generation of software for the construction and prefab housing industry.
We’re looking for a curious, socially confident and creative intern who wants to experience what building an early-stage startup actually feels like.
You’ll work closely with our founders and support us across community, brand, communication, people topics and day-to-day operations.
What you’ll do
Your role will be deliberately varied. Depending on what is happening at Elyra, you might:
- help prepare customer meetings, events, dinners and partnerships
- support selected HR and recruiting topics, including candidate communication, interview coordination and onboarding
- help with Founder’s Office and admin tasks
- research companies, people, customers and market trends
- prepare presentations, documents and external communication
- turn rough information into clean, visually appealing presentations and documents
- support our branding, visual style and social media presence
- help create content and company updates
- organize internal projects, meetings and team activities
- join selected customer, partner and industry conversations
We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure, communication and a good visual eye together.
There will be room to contribute your own ideas and creatively shape how Elyra presents itself – without this being a pure design or social-media internship.
Who we’re looking for
Your degree matters less to us than your personality, judgment and way of working.
The internship can be particularly relevant for students in:
Social Sciences · Sociology · Psychology · Communication · Media · Cultural Studies · Marketing · Business · Humanities · Design-related fields
You could be a great fit if you:
- enjoy working with people and communicate naturally
- have a good sense for branding, aesthetics, style and presentation
- like creating polished slides, documents or content
- are familiar with tools such as Canva, PowerPoint, Instagram or similar platforms
- are organized and reliable
- enjoy switching between creative and operational tasks
- are curious about startups, AI and entrepreneurship
- speak fluent German and good English
Previous startup experience is not required.
What you’ll get
- direct collaboration with Elyra’s founders
- exposure to customers, partners and the Berlin startup ecosystem
- involvement in real projects rather than artificial intern tasks
- insights into AI, startups, branding, partnerships, recruiting and company building
- freedom to contribute your own creative ideas
- regular feedback and increasing responsibility
- opportunity to join events, meetings and selected external activities
- potential opportunities to continue with Elyra after the internship
Internship setup
We particularly welcome students completing a mandatory university internship (Pflichtpraktikum).
Location: Berlin
Start: Flexible
Duration: Depending on university requirements
Working model: Primarily on-site
Compensation: Depending on internship setup and requirements
Application
Keep it simple.
Please send us:
- your CV
- a few sentences about yourself and why Elyra interests you
- your university and degree program
- whether this would be a mandatory internship
- your preferred starting date and required duration
No formal cover letter required. We care more about getting a sense of who you are, how you communicate and what you’re interested in than receiving a perfectly formatted application.
