At CREDOXYS we develop high-quality specialty chemicals for the present and next generation of organic displays (OLED) and organic solar cells (OPV) at our facility in Dresden. Our materials are not only made for use in mobile phone displays or OLED-TVs, but they are also key enablers of tomorrow’s technology. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic organic chemist, contributing their experience in synthetic chemistry to our company at the earliest possible date.
Your responsibilities
- As a Research Chemist, you will develop new target molecules with a focus on structure–property relationships
- You will plan and carry out chemical syntheses in the laboratory, including the evaluation of the corresponding analytical data
- You will plan and perform sublimation experiments
- Together with the team, you will support the sampling process for our customers
- You will apply your chemical expertise to support our process development activities and scale up batch sizes
- You will document your results and communicate your progress clearly within the team
Your profile
- Chemistry degree and a PhD with a focus on synthetic organic or organometallic chemistry, total synthesis and/or heterocyclic chemistry
- Excellent theoretical knowledge and state-of-the-art synthesis techniques
- Ready to familiarize yourself with new topics
- Open personality and team player
- Eager to work on changing tasks and challenges in a growing start-up environment
- Fluent English, willingness to learn German
