Join the pioneering team at Rolls-Royce as a Service Business Officer to support our customers and drive efficiency within our global aftermarket services. The Parts Availability Team is focused on supporting operators by ensuring timely parts availability, expanding service capabilities, and maintaining high standards across international locations. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing material returns and warehouse operations across our international network, fostering continuous improvement and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance parts availability and customer satisfaction.
Your needs are as unique as you are. Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
What you will be doing
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the initial point of contact for customer inquiries regarding material returns.
- Material Returns Management: Oversee the process of returning materials in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Warehouse Operations & Logistics: Take operational responsibility for one or more international Spares warehouses, leading daily activities, addressing logistics and performance challenges such as customs clearance and inventory accuracy, and coordinating solutions with the Aftermarket Logistics team.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with regional personnel, forecasting teams, and project managers worldwide to maintain optimal aftermarket inventory levels.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency, leveraging performance data to identify trends and implement process improvements.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Support initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving sustainability, and optimizing resource use in warehouse and logistics operations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the global supply chain and warehouse operations, implementing mitigation strategies where necessary.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- hold a university degree and/or have relevant professional experience in Services (experience in Purchasing, Logistics, and/or Supply Chain nice to have),
- demonstrate proficiency in both SAP and MS Office suite (a strong IT affinity desired),
- be able to work in a team, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines,
- have experience in or not shy away from customer-facing roles,
- possess fluency in English, German would be an advantage
