General Engineer (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and supporting flight simulators and associated systems to ensure safe and efficient training operations. Key duties include:

Troubleshoot and resolve simulator system issues

Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and system checks (pre-/post-flight, QTG runs)

Record activities in the Maintenance Management System

Support visual system tasks, hardware upgrades, and refurbishments
-
Handle basic logistics, parts management, and testing
-
Provide timely customer support and maintain simulator readiness
-
Ensure compliance with CAE policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations
Requirements:
-
Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aviation, with several years of professional experience
-
EU work authorization and strong English skills, very good German skills would be an advantage

Basic knowledge of aviation systems, simulation technology, and aircraft terminology

Ability to read technical documentation and perform troubleshooting using test equipment and software tools
-
Understanding of analog/digital principles, IT systems, and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)

Familiarity with MS Office
-
Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA) and Health & Safety standards
-
Proactive, motivated team player with strong customer focus
-
Able to work independently and in flexible shift schedules (24/7)
