Head of Technology Transfer (m/w/d)
The Head of Technology Transfer will lead technology transfer (TT) to both company-owned production sites and partner manufacturing ventures. As Head of TT, your responsibilities will include processes, equipment, product definition, quality systems, IP and critical know-how, and you will work closely with the Technology, IP, Legal and Commercial departments. This role requires a senior technical leader with extensive experience in high-volume manufacturing (HVM) environments—specifically semiconductor, solar, or advanced materials—and with a proven track record of delivering complex industrial technology and knowledge-transfer programmes at scale. To be successful in this role you must be a structured thinker, confident in defining and communicating high level programmes and business cases, managing cross functional alignment, and driving the delivery of successful project execution across technical and commercial boundaries.
This role requires a regular presence in the UK and Germany.

- Managing risk, including identification of specific topics, mitigation planning, and defining escalation paths to Executive leadership when required.
- Ensuring cross functional alignment to support end-to-end transfer project execution.
- Safeguarding IP and managing controlled disclosure, ensuring secure transfer of sensitive know-how across sites and partners.
-
Overseeing scope areas including:
o Process & equipment definition for HVM, including manufacturing readiness assessment.
o Setting frameworks for ongoing and future technology change management across partners and sites.
o Documentation, training, and certification of personnel.
