What to Expect
Security Intelligence Specialists are responsible for the protection of Tesla's intellectual property, reputation, trade secrets, and confidential information. This role will support proactive and reactive risk management projects, engage with relevant business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks to the company, and actively address threats to Tesla's intellectual property.
What You'll Do-
IP Protection - Support programs designed to reduce IP loss risk to Tesla crown jewel programs.

Training and Awareness - Support ongoing training and awareness efforts, emphasizing Information Security and IP protection best practices.

Partner with key stakeholders across the company to identify risks to sensitive IP and collaborate with cross functional partners to mitigate those risks.

Support sensitive, complex, and confidential investigations into incidents of data loss and intellectual property theft, technology misuse, and conflict of interest.

Collaborate with technical forensic and human investigations to mitigate risks and/or vectors of IP loss identified during investigations.

Partner with Legal and Human Resources and other investigative/analysis functions across the company to optimize IP risk reduction and investigations.

Solve complex problems with data from multiple sources and make recommendations to leadership on the appropriate strategy

Effectively communicate at all levels of the company, including at executive level
What You'll Bring-
3-5 years’ experience as an investigator, analyst, or similar role within the intelligence community, law enforcement, corporate security or other relevant field

Graduate level education in an academic program related to privacy, political science, security, cybersecurity, information security, or risk management

Proficiency in open-source research

Excellent attention to detail

The ability to build and leverage productive professional relationships across organizations, internally and externally

Familiarity with Insider Threat/Risk concepts/programs, and ambition to work in this field

Proven track record managing multiple complex projects simultaneously and focusing on critical priorities with minimal supervision

Demonstrated success in cross functional collaboration and the ability to learn new technologies quickly

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Fluency in German preferred

Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to change focus quickly due to shifting corporate priorities

Works well in a team environment where team members are dispersed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with MISP, Navigator, or Splunk is a plus

The highest level of integrity and honesty and the ability to protect sensitive confidential information
