At Omegga, we're on a mission to reinvent how AI and spectroscopy can drive positive change for animals, people and the planet. We started with a clear objective: eliminate chick culling on a global scale through early, non-invasive in-ovo sex detection. This outdated practice still impacts billions of lives, and we're here to change that. We're not building for the niche, we're building for the global standard.
Today, our systems are already in use, and the focus is on scaling performance, robustness, and deployment across an international customer base. For us, scaling means more than growth. It means changing an industry for the better.
We are looking for people who take ownership, think in systems, and want to help turn a working product into the industry benchmark. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable on the floor of a hatchery and in a meeting room. You can assess a customer's setup, understand their technical constraints, and translate what you learn into clear requirements for our engineering team. You present with confidence, follow up with persistence, and always keep the bigger picture in mind. This role sits at the intersection of technology, product, and customer, and it's essential to how we scale.
Be the first technical point of contact for customers, representing Omegga with professionalism and enthusiasm in meetings, workshops, demos, and industry events
Visit customer sites (hatcheries), assess their infrastructure and incubator setups, and determine how our technology can be integrated
Translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions aligned with our product portfolio, and coordinate with the engineering team on necessary adaptations
Shape how our product evolves by bringing real-world customer insights directly into product and engineering decisions
Run discovery sessions, map customer workflows, and build compelling business cases
Act as the key interface between customers, R&D, and sales across pre-sales, implementation, and onboarding processes
Deliver presentations, demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical training at customer sites
Develop technical materials such as whitepapers and presentations on product use cases
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable technical related field - or equivalent professional experience in a technical environment
3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or a customer-facing technical role, ideally in plant or equipment manufacturing
Strong technical understanding with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to diverse audiences, from operators to hatchery managers
Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in understanding how things work on the customer side
Confident and persuasive communicator who can present, advise, and build trust with customers
Proactive and persistent working style with an eye for business and market opportunities
Willingness to travel internationally to customer sites worldwide
Fluent in German and English, additional languages are a plus
