Organizational Context and Scope
Under the overall supervision of the Resource Management Officer in Germany and direct supervision of the National ICT Officer, the Senior Information Management Associate will be responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of the Information Management Team, supporting effective use of IOM corporate migrant applications, high data quality standards, and optimized business processes in support of migrant operational assistance and services across the Missions.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
High school diploma with six years of relevant experience; or,
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or Statistical Science or related fields from an accredited institution with four years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Work experience in information management, data management, business analysis, or system support.
Working experience in Enterprise-Resource-Planning implementation and management, including troubleshooting and aligning policies and processes.
Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and coordinating information management activities.
Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook.
Attention to detail, ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way.
Discreet, details and clients-oriented, patient and willingness to learn new things.
Languages
For this position, fluency in English and German is required (oral and written).
