Stellenbeschreibung
The Head of Marketing will have full responsibility for all aspects of marketing, including leadership of the team. Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation and delivery of product launches in collaboration with local and international partners, as required.
Full market analyses of the German market in the various branches (tender, pharmacy, physician) and support of business development activities
Development and implementation of robust marketing plans, supported by appropriate financial analysis and planning
Overall brand management for the German market in line with European and global teams
Managing the marketing budget, including marketing material and product sampling
Marketing strategy development and implementation for Germany for existing and future products to maximize commercial efforts, in line with corporate teams
Introducing and driving the digital (ecommerce, omnichannel) marketing strategy and implementation
Be a hands-on driver of the German business and launch team.
Development of a strong national network and contacts to relevant interest groups, including participation at trade shows and conferences as appropriate
Securing and promoting cross-functional cooperations in Germany and across the global organisation.
Qualifikationen
The Head of Marketing will be a knowledgeable and experienced pharmaceutical marketing / branding professional with a track record of successfully promoting RX and OTC products, generic and innovative in the German market. The person will ideally have a broad background covering different functions (sales, marketing, BD) and different organisations (generics, OTC, Rx). They will also have an innovative and modern approach as well as up to date experience with digital marketing and ecommerce. The Head of Marketing will be a strong leader and strategic thinker, with a proven track record of managing and leading a team, as well as participating in high level strategic planning and implementation.
Specifically, the Head of Marketing will have:
An advanced education in a relevant discipline
At least 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in Germany, with at least some of that experience in generics
A detailed knowledge and understanding of the German pharma market and payer system
A career development path encompassing several functions, including sales, marketing, business development etc.
Extensive launch preparation and management experience
A proven track record of growing a business by using modern marketing tools
A very good understanding of and experience with digital marketing, particularly with ecommerce, omnichannel and customer relationship management systems.
Hands-on experience with market intelligence, including account planning, mapping, prioritisation, budgeting etc.
Excellent strategic capability to see the bigger picture, plan for future growth and convert strategic initiatives into tactical plans
Direct responsibility managing a marketing team
In addition, the Head of Marketing will have:

Excellent people management skills, especially coaching and mentoring
