Job purpose/role
You will be part of the Investment Strategy Team based in Munich with focus on fixed income and public equities. Members are very international and located around the globe. In this role you will cover a variety of tasks including investment data management, preparation of market research and support initiating investment proposals for local insurance portfolios in the context of the group strategy. Within AIM’s global network you will share the public equities and fixed come expertise.
Key responsibilities
- You will contribute to data analytics for equity and fixed income market movements, performance measurement and ongoing portfolio management.
- You will contribute to the development and implementation of the global investment strategy of Allianz in the equity and fixed income space.
- You will support the preparation of investment cases through qualitative and quantitative analysis of equity and derivative markets as well as within a wide range of fixed income segments (from sovereign to credit to EM and FX).
- You will update and improve tools for regular market updates
- You will perform market analysis and your own research projects.
- Support internal strategy and financial market communications.
Key requirements / Skills / Experience
Qualifications:
- Highly proficient data analytical skills with genuine interest in data is a must.
- Interest in capital markets and investments. Fixed income, public equity or derivatives know-how would be a plus.
- We are looking for people with initiative who can work independently within a very international and dynamic environment.
- You have an inquisitive mind and you learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills and abilities to give and take feedback
Experience:
- You must be registered as student for the entire duration of the internship.
- You have completed, or are currently pursuing, your undergraduate studies in business administration, economics, or mathematics with solid credentials.
- Previous relevant professional experience is a plus.
- Fluent in English is a must, other languages are a plus.
