For our Service & Support team in Nehren we are looking for an "System and Service Specialist (m/w/d)" focusing on our molecular diagnostics instruments.
Responsibilities:
The position is designed to provide expert application support and training for instruments, software, and test kits, ensuring effective implementation and use of molecular diagnostic systems by customers.
Main tasks are:

Troubleshoot customer issues and perform root cause analysis as part of 2nd level support

Contribute to internal service tasks and repairs

Support the introduction of product changes together with Product Management

Participate in company-wide or cross-functional projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent technical college qualification) in electrical engineering, or medical devices technician with experience in biotechnology and physical engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with molecular diagnostic instruments in a laboratory setting would be a significant advantage.

Experience with CRM Service tools for reporting and task management

Good knowledge of LIS (Laboratory Information Systems) and Lab IT infrastructure to ensure seamless instrument integration and remote connection
Strong communication and presentation skills including good teamwork and organizational skills
Professional and confident demeanour when interacting with customers
Problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach
Previous experience in a customer-facing role
Strong technical aptitude and interest in IT-related topics.
minimum B2 level in written and spoken German and English
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Valid Class B driving licence
Some hybrid working is possible as agreed with manager
