Description
As a Silicon Validation engineer you will collaborate with a team of engineers in various measurement tasks. You will be working on integrating our analogue and mixed signal Power Management circuits for battery-operated portable devices across various platforms and new Apple devices.
Your daily work will include:
- Mixed-signal IP validation on bench and automated test systems
- Debugging chip-level and board-level issues
- Developing and executing Python scripts to validate ICs over process, voltage, and temperature
- Generating validation reports and documentation
- Supporting test engineering by debugging test procedures and improving automation
- Completing system characterization in line with compliance specifications
- Chip validation for application scenarios
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in lab measurement and measurement automation
Experience with power and DCDC converters
Hardware development and circuit design experience
Experience with statistical analysis for silicon characterization
Experience with ATE systems
Knowledge of battery charging systems or thermal management
Minimum Qualifications
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or industrial experience equivalent.
First experience working with mixed-signal analog ICs
Basic understanding of power management topologies (LDO, buck converter, switch)
Familiarity with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, source meters, spectrum analyzers etc.
Ability to read and interpret schematics
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python preferred; C#, C++ a plus)
Strong written and verbal communication skills working with international teams
Proficiency in English language is required
