PhD Position (m/f/d) – Chemical Process Engineering & Laboratory Automation
The Kurt-Schwabe-Institute for Sensor Technologies (KSI) is offering a PhD position in the field of chemical process engineering, laboratory automation, and analytical system integration.
Your tasks:
- Development of workflows for automated biomolecular conjugation reactions
- Work with robotic liquid handling, spectroscopy, and chromatography
- Implementation of Python-based automation and data analysis
- Contribution to a machine-learning-driven experimentation platform
- Comparison of automated and manual experiments and evaluation of results
Your profile:
- Degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, or related fields
- Interest in laboratory automation, robotics, and data-driven experimentation- Programming skills (preferably Python) are an advantage
