The PACE Flight Operations Team is looking for a Software Developer - AWS Cloud (m/f/d) to join us in Berlin, Germany. This is a full-time position within a dynamic and innovative environment focused on building solutions for fuel-efficient aviation.
Your Responsibilities
- Be part of an agile development team building specialized applications for fuel-efficient aviation
- Develop, maintain, and operate scalable web applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon API Gateway
- Write high-quality code in C# as your primary language
- Perform code reviews and promote best practices for secure and maintainable software development
- Manage and evolve Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in CI/CD environments
Your Profile
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong experience in C# / .NET development
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and client/server architectures
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and fluent English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing test strategies for distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with serverless architectures
- Strong analytical skills and good mathematical understanding
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of flight mechanics or flight performance
- Background in aerospace engineering
- AWS certifications
