Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role

Reliable work: Prepare customer boards (PCBs) for a multi-channel Digital-To-Analog converter: soldering SMD components (hot air / solder iron)

Data is everything: Do PCB lab measurements including current, voltage and temperature sensors using oscilloscope and data acquisition systems (Keysight)
-
Shape the future: Automate measurements using Matlab and Python
-
Keep the overview: Validate digital interfaces like MIPI-RFFE, I3C/I2C and SPI using oscilloscope, digitizers, protocol analyzers and FPGA
-
Focus on the future: Do circuit simulations with CAE tools like LT Spice or Tina (Texas Instruments Spice) to support development of new tester hardware
-
Organizational talent: Create schematic/layout for tester hardware using KiCAD / Altium Designer
-
Experience research: Do market research on potential new application areas or analyze competitor parts
Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Study Field: Majoring in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Microelectronics, Applied Physics or a similar field of subject

Interests: Highly interested in hardware engineering with hands-on experience (oscilloscope, multimeter, solder station)
-
Experience: Prior experience/high interest in digital electronics (e.g. microprocessor, FPGA)
-
Language skills: Possess good reading and writing skills in English

Working part-time: The focus is on studies. That’s why working as a student employee during lecture period is limited to a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: To work as a student employee with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all of your exams or modules for your degree programme. You must not be in a semester of leave. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months.

You should live close to the site: For good collaboration, it is important to us that you can come to the office regularly to integrate to the team.
