About the position
As a Customer Service Coordinator (m/f/d), you are responsible for managing customer orders and communicating with customers, ensuring timely confirmations and proactive customer support. This includes coordinating forecasts, deliveries, and planning with internal teams, maintaining customer portals and safety stock levels, and supporting financial processes such as credit notes/debit notes and receivables. You will handle complaints, ensure compliance with legal regulations (e.g., export controls) for deliveries, and manage special vehicle registrations.
Please note that this is a temporary position with a duration of 1 year.
Your tasks

You create and send order confirmations to customers, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.

You build strong operational relationships through proactive information and interaction with customers.

You collect customer forecasts and work with internal stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy.

You coordinate with the planning, sales and S&OP departments to predict and minimize supply bottlenecks or problems.

You proactively communicate with customers about supply bottlenecks, coordinate corrective actions, and manage cross-functional responses.

You answer general inquiries about existing orders.

You manage the customers' security inventory and maintain customer portals (e.g., SupplyOn).

You will support the finance team in creating credit/debit notes and assist with receivables management by proactively processing blocked deliveries.

You will handle complaints and assist in resolving customer issues internally.

You ensure that delivery regulations, including declarations and approvals, are complied with.

You register deliveries and special transports as needed in customer portals.
What you bring

Professional language skills in German and English
-
Residence within commuting distance of the Velten / Laudenbach location

At least 3 years of successfully completed vocational training in a specialized profession, e.g. as an industrial clerk.

Company-specific additional qualifications or several years of professional experience in a production environment.

Experience in customer service is an advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all company levels (internal and external)

Good MS Office skills, especially Excel, and experience with the ERP system: preferably M3 or SAP.
