As Inside Sales & Commercial Operations Employee, you are responsible for the internal effectiveness of our sales organization. You ensure that leads are generated systematically, followed up consistently, and documented reliably. You create structure, transparency, and momentum in an intentionally lean environment.
While Business Development focuses on external conversations, relationships, and deal progression, you own the sales backbone: pipeline management, follow-up discipline, CRM quality, and reporting. This is not an assistant role, but a key operational position.
Your responsibilities

Lead Generation and Qualification
You actively identify new leads, monitor the market, and structure potential opportunities. You qualify inbound inquiries systematically and either progress them independently or hand them over to Business Development with clear context and next steps. -
Follow-Up Discipline and Pipeline Management
You ensure that no lead stalls unnoticed. You track open loops, enforce next steps, and make data-based decisions on whether opportunities should be progressed or consciously closed. -
Salesforce Ownership
You are the internal authority for Salesforce. You define standards for leads, opportunities, activities, and documentation, and ensure Salesforce is used as a reliable single source of truth. -
Reporting and Transparency
You build reports and dashboards covering pipeline status, lead sources, follow-ups, and bottlenecks. In sales meetings, you anchor discussions in facts and data, ensuring decisions are made based on reality rather than assumptions. -
Process and Structure Development
You continuously improve sales processes pragmatically, without adding unnecessary bureaucracy. The goal is clarity, reliability, and scalability.
Your profile

You have several years of experience in inside sales, sales operations or a similar role

You are proficient in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and structured sales processes

You work in a data-driven manner and effortlessly manages reports, dashboards and pipelines

You are highly structured, reliable and detail-oriented

You demonstrate ownership and monitors standards, even without formal authority

You are fluent in German and English and communicates clearly, respectfully and factually
