Join Ericsson’s IPR & Licensing team as an Intellectual Property (IP) Rights Policy Researcher - Lawyer and engage in a dynamic role that bridges technology and policy. This paid internship offers a comprehensive opportunities to explore the intersections of innovation, technology, and IP rights.
What you will do:

Conduct research and draft policy papers, position papers, and other publications on SEPs and standardization topics.

Collaborate with Ericsson’s technical and legal teams to identify and articulate key messages that highlight Ericsson’s leadership in 5G and 6G innovation.

Develop clear, engaging content for infographics, videos, and other communication materials aimed at educating policymakers and industry stakeholders.

Contribute to projects and initiatives that promote understanding of Standard Essential Patents (SEPs), Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory (FRAND) terms, and standardization policy.

Support the IPR Policy Team in internal and external communication activities that reinforce Ericsson’s thought leadership in the IP ecosystem.
The skills you bring:

Excellent English command in written and oral communication

Law degree with completed or ongoing specialization in IP (Intellectual Property)

Preference will be giving to those with experience in a law firm or equivalent environment handling IP-related matters

Keen interest in marketing and communication, with an eye for clarity, impact, and audience engagement

Proactive, structured, and well-organized team player with strong collaboration skills.
