Do you have a genuine passion for our environment and making the world a better place every day? Do you want to solve complex problems in a dynamic and highly motivated team while supporting Tesla on its path to a sustainable future? Then we are looking for exactly you. In your internship, you will support the Environmental team in compliance related topics at the Gigafactory Berlin. You will develop technical solutions for the implementation of various legal requirements. Based on the experience gained, you will be responsible for developing a concept to collect, merge and present environmentally relevant data.
Overall, you will have a front row seat and support Tesla in making important decisions that not only impact your team, but also the achievement of Tesla's goals.
What You'll Do

Improve analytical skills by developing new systems and statistical overviews

Develop the right mindset to tackle challenges with a hands-on approach

Build your knowledge in environmental compliance with applicable regulations

Contribute to spread awareness for environmental protection such as : Compliant handling of hazardous materials, responsible segregation of waste streams and handling of water hazardous substances within the company

Support projects that improve environmental performance such as: develop a concept to systematically track a validate data for groundwater monitoring and support systematic tracking and validation of waste data

Create reports and lessons learned of environmental events

Support measurements and reporting such as noise measurements and emission reports

Assist the Tesla EHS team in environmental protection and beyond
What You'll Bring
-
Studying (or a recent graduate) in a relevant field, e.g. environmental engineering, environmental sciences, natural sciences (e.g. chemistry) or environmental law OR other fields with a proven interest in driving environmental performance

Work experience or apprenticeship in the technical field is an advantage

Initial knowledge of environmental topics, e.g. chemicals or water management

Strong team spirit to understand that we are all working towards the mission of Tesla

Initiative, results orientation, resourcefulness, analytical thinking, innovation and intellectual curiosity

Fluent in German and English (verbal and written)

Proficient in Microsoft Office
