You will support our group “Water Treatment and Material Separation”, which focuses on developing innovative processes for recovering valuable metals and other resources from complex material streams. We combine electrochemical processes, experimental research, and technical development to create new value chains for a resource-efficient circular economy.
For ourgroup “Concentrator Modules and Systems”, we are looking for a student to begin as soon as possible for a voluntary or required internship to perform the following tasks:
- You will assist with the completion and commissioning of a new reverse osmosis test rig.
- You will work with us to conduct functional tests and initial test runs.
- You will prepare and conduct test series for water recovery and the concentration of recyclable solutions.
- You will adjust test parameters and document operating conditions and measurement data.
- You will assist with troubleshooting and minor technical adjustments to the test rig.
- You will evaluate test data and present the results in a clear and organized manner.
What you contribute
- You are studying process engineering or a related field.
- You have solid hands-on skills and experience, and you enjoy practical work.
- Vocational training in a technical field is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of membrane technology, water treatment, or chemical engineering is also a plus, but not required.
- It’s important to you to contribute to your team and to achieve common goals through interdisciplinary collaboration.
- You plan and complete tasks independently and to a high standard.
- When faced with challenges, you persevere and don’t give up until you’ve achieved the desired results.
- You work independently and with dedication.
- In pursuing your goals, you overcome obstacles and setbacks.
- You work meticulously and with a focus on solutions, and you enjoy tackling technical issues in a hands-on manner.
- You’re comfortable using Excel or similar software for data analysis.
- Ideally, you already have practical experience with measurement and plant technology.
- You can express yourself confidently in both German and English.
