Your team
You will become part of the Risk department at IG Europe GmbH (IGE), sitting at the heart of a team that protects and enables IG's business across the European Union. In this collaborative, high-impact environment, comprehensive risk assessments go hand in hand with close business partnering and insightful reporting — all driven by a proactive mindset that identifies and addresses emerging risks ahead of the curve.
Your role in the Team’s Success
As Risk Manager - Financial & ICT Risk, you will be responsible for managing the organization's integrated risk framework, covering both traditional financial risks — including credit, market, and operational risk — and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) risk in accordance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).

What you’ll do
Financial Risk
Maintain and continuously develop IGE’s market, credit, and operational risk frameworks, to keep pace with growing regulatory expectations
Play a central role in the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and management reporting
Be accountable for regulatory reporting according to IFR
Provide support across key projects/ initiatives (e.g. new products) embedding sound management of potential risks
ICT Risk
Shape and sustain a robust ICT risk management framework ensuring compliance with DORA requirements
Drive the enhancement of DORA-related processes in collaboration with IG Group stakeholders (e.g. major changes, contingency testing, information register etc.)
What you’ll need for this role
Key Qualification Requirements:
Academic degree in a related discipline (Finance, Economics, Business Information Systems, or similar)
At least 3–5 years of experience in Financial Services — including roles in consulting or audit — with a preference for candidates with a background in financial and/or ICT risk management
Strong passion for risk management, combined with a proactive mindset and a demonstrated ability to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
Sound knowledge of and proven experience in applying relevant regulations (MaRisk, DORA etc.)
Prior experience engaging with auditors and regulators advantageous
Strong sense of ownership and accountability, combining an independent work approach with clear goal orientation and the ability to collaborate across teams
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; proficiency in German is desirable
