We are Group Finance & Tax – a diverse, highly qualified team of more than 80 colleagues based in Metzingen, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and Taipei. To further strengthen our Group Accounting function, we are looking for you as Senior Manager Group Accounting (m/f/d). In this role, you will take on a key position in Group financial reporting, act as a main point of contact for our globally operating group companies, steer complex accounting topics, and significantly contribute to Accounting & Reporting Excellence at HUGO BOSS.
What you can expect:

As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for complex accounting, consolidation and reporting matters under IFRS and HGB, provide assessments for challenging business transactions and manage the implementation of new accounting standards as part of company-wide initiatives.
- You will play a central role in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements including notes under IFRS, and ensure professional alignment with interface functions as well as the Group auditor.
- As a competent partner for our globally operating production and distribution companies, you will advise on complex accounting, reporting and governance topics and ensure consistent application of group-wide accounting standards.
- For the entities in your scope, you will be responsible for timely and high-quality reporting, perform analyses of key balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow developments, and derive well-founded recommendations for action.
- You will oversee the technical steering of complex consolidation and elimination topics, including plausibility checks and quality assurance.
- You will be responsible for key content in regular reporting on accounting topics to the Management Board and Supervisory Board and ensure target group-oriented communication of complex accounting issues. In addition, you will prepare decision papers for management on accounting-related questions.
- You will actively shape the further development of group-wide accounting standards, guidelines and best practices as well as knowledge transfer within the global Finance community through trainings, professional communication, and close exchange with international stakeholders.
- You will drive the continuous improvement of our consolidation and reporting processes, independently identify potential for optimization through targeted automation and Agentic-AI-based solutions to sustainably enhance quality, transparency, and efficiency. Moreover, you will contribute your expertise to strategic Finance and SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
Your profile:

Successfully completed degree in economics, business administration, Finance & Accounting or a comparable qualification
- Many years (>7 years) of relevant professional experience in group accounting of an international, ideally listed group, or equivalent experience in an auditing firm with a focus on consolidated financial statements (IFRS)
- Professional qualification as German CPA (Wirtschaftsprüfer) or tax advisor (Steuerberater) is an advantage
- Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and German GAAP (HGB)
- Strong understanding of group structures, consolidation methods, intercompany processes and complex group transactions
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as the ability to prepare complex issues in a clear and target group-oriented manner
- High affinity for digitalization, systems and process improvement
- Experience with ERP and consolidation systems (e.g. SAP FI/CO, SEM BCS)
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills to convey complex accounting topics in a clear and convincing way
- Team-oriented, communicative personality who enjoys driving topics proactively, taking ownership, and convincing stakeholders at various levels – including senior management
