Our production team is looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Tool Crib Attendant (m/f/d) to help keep our production environment running smoothly. In this role, you will be the central point of control for tools, equipment, and consumable inventory that directly supports manufacturing success. Your work will ensure that technicians and operators have the right tools available at the right time, helping reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and maintain a safe workplace.
- Ensure tool availability by managing the issuance, return, and tracking of tools and equipment to support uninterrupted production and maintenance activities.
- Drive inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and system updates, helping maintain accountability for valuable company assets.
- Improve operational efficiency by organizing storage locations, implementing visual management practices, and reducing tool search and retrieval times.
- Coordinate replenishment activities by monitoring inventory levels and proactively addressing shortages before they impact production schedules.
- Support a safe and compliant workplace by maintaining tool condition records, calibration tracking, housekeeping standards, and adherence to safety procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse, maintenance, or production environment while prioritizing multiple requests.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build positive relationships and provide responsive support to internal stakeholders.
- Basic proficiency with inventory management systems, ERP software, or digital record-keeping tools, with the ability to accurately manage transactions and stock movements.
- Experience in tool crib operations, inventory control, manufacturing support, maintenance environments, or logistics operations is considered a plus.
