What to Expect
The Supervisor, Supplier Quality Assurance will lead Supplier Quality Assurance (Quality Technicians) team in their day-to-day operations. The Supervisor, Supplier Quality Assurance will be responsible for shift quality targets achievement and on-site immediate containment implementation for related supplier part quality concern, provide daily operational guidance to the Supplier Quality Assurance (Quality Technicians) team, and collaborate with cross-functional team to achieve company goals.
What You'll Do-
To keep production running and leading troubleshooting activity related to supplier part quality: plant KPIs achievement (Product audit score, OEE)

Manage a team in their day-to-day operations, including creating rotations, and providing all levels of coaching.

Support the development and lead the implementation of quality standards

Coaching and mentoring the team during day-to-day operations as well as providing performance review feedback and development plan

Reporting and daily meetings with shop leaders

Maintain Continuous improvement process (PDCA)

Communicate emerging and trending quality issues to prevent negative impact on the factory

Collaborating closely with other Tesla cross-functional teams such as; SIE, SQE, SQI, Operations, MRB Quality, Packaging Engineers, Quality Engineers, Design, MH Teams, among others

Cost reduction activity, process optimization, containment and certified shipment targets follow-up

SCAR creation and MRB process follow-up

Keep safety environment

5S discipline establish and audit program scheduling
What You'll Bring-
First Degree or evidence of experience and exceptional ability

Business level proficiency in English Language

Good knowledge of 2D GD&T

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in People management experience

Experience in a fast-paced and changing work environment, with busy workloads and meeting deadlines

Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize in task highly dynamic production environment

Proven ability to lead a team

Automotive Experience 3+ year

Detail-oriented, able to work both independently and in a collaborative project-focused environment, prompt and dependable, and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines

Willingness to work in shifts (3-shift system)

Valid Driver License
