As a Buyer in our Home & Living category, you‘re part of a high performing team. You are responsible for branded & private label buying within a growth-driving category in control of a sizable portfolio of brands and vendors, working together with our Division Lead Buying, Buyers and Merchandise Planner in creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashionable homeware. This role would suit someone who is already an established and experienced Buyer looking for a new challenge.
Your responsibilities
- Manage a wide portfolio of brands.
- Operational purchasing of defined brands/areas internationally.
- Owning brand and division development in line with our strategy, including brand acquisition;
- Create strong supplier relationships.
- Track and review weekly & monthly financials, identifying necessary actions to achieve KPIs & set strategy.
- OTB management.
- Supporting the entire order process & providing support to our assistants and buying team.
- Open to frequent travel & regularly attending trade fairs.
- Compile regular competitive analysis.
Strong stakeholder management in particular with logistics, campaign planning and marketing.

Qualifications
- A degree in business administration or comparable business training.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in operational international purchasing in Home and Living, preferably Home Accessories, Decoration, Furniture or Kitchen & Dining.
- Confidence, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, be results-oriented and be able to think "out of the box”.
- Ability to think and act entrepreneurially, analytically and strategically.
- Confidence in working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel.
- Experience in negotiation.
- Report preparation and analysis skills.
- Data analysis skills and KPI knowledge.
- Confidence in using BI reporting tools and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent written and spoken business English.
