About the role:
This role is a core position in our Finance organization. As a Business Controller, you will be responsible to financially control the strategy and execution of a Business Group. Acting as a true business partner, your core tasks will compromise revenue and margin steering, the financial evaluation of development or cost improvement projects, as well as supporting activities during month-end closure or financial planning of the Business Group Bipolar Discretes. Furthermore, this role focuses on improving operational effectiveness and efficiency of financial processes in the Business Group.
In this exciting role, you will be in the middle of different financial processes within the international organization of Nexperia. Eagerness, pro-activeness, being self-critical, accuracy and a positive drive are the essential behavioural aspects we are searching for.
This is your new role:

Contribute to the Strategy plan and ensure effective execution measurements within the Business Group

Enable decision making for Senior Management by generation fact-based business cases

Constantly improve commercial decision making

Drive and support the development, implementation, and execution of effective as well as efficient business processes or controls

Secure visibility of cost structures and drive management decisions to improve product costs

Support planning the integral financial data for the Business Group in Nexperia’s quarterly Rolling Financial Forecast Cycle

Support financial management reporting analysis to ensure complete and accurate monthly reporting of the Business Group
This is you:

University degree with focus on Finance & Controlling or equivalent required
-
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Controlling business processes such as Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management etc.

Advanced Expertise in Management Reporting and KPI design

Expert in Analytics and Accuracy

Expert in Microsoft Excel, advanced understanding/usage of SAP ERP & SAP BW data models is a plus

Ability to challenge peers & management in a demanding yet fair manner

Continuous and relentless drive of optimization

Hands-on mentality combined with a strong team player attitude

Creativity and individual problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and under pressure

Fluency in English (verbal and written)
