We are looking for a motivated industrial coordinator to join our team at Tesla. Waste management and Logistics are at the heart of day-to-day operations. This role will be a part of the Facility Management team and responsible for the collection waste generated during the engineering process at our facility, as well as effectively managing inbound and outbound logistics.
The ideal candidate has solid experience with projects related to industrial waste management, including hazardous waste, process improvements and has a track record of making real operational impact on compliance, productivity and/or costs reduction.
This position requires active participation on the shopfloor, demonstrating a hands-on approach for overseeing waste and logistics. A great opportunity to be part of our engineering journey. It is essential that the candidate is proactive in solving problems, as well as possessing strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues across various departments.
What You'll Do-
Build clear processes for effective waste and logistics management. Regularly inspect workflows and processes on the shopfloor for enhancement of productivity, safety and compliance

Coordinate supplier procurement, negotiating expectations and ensuring the timely waste collection and the availability of operation supplies

Collect waste streams, ensuring proper transportation, documentation, labelling and adherence to regulations

Implement and enforce regulatory and EHS best practices for waste management and proper disposal in alignment with local regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic projects, supporting with technical specifications, risk mitigation, cost estimates, project timelines

Focus on compliance, costs and performance optimization throughout analysis of processes, materials, and resource utilization
What You'll Bring-
Several years of solid experience in waste management, including handling hazardous substances, dangerous goods (ADR), lithium-ion batteries, laboratory chemicals, waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in industrial environment within operational roles, process optimization on shop floor, and continuous improvement projects

Knowledge about waste & hazardous waste regulations, laws or similar and the eagerness to develop their knowledge
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrates personal leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Fluent German and good English skills
