Mission
The Senior Project Manager (f/m/d) coordinates the implementation of the Thinkproject business solution and/or coordinates the managed operations of the Thinkproject business solution, by managing timelines, risks, tracking revenues and costs, coordination and prioritization of tasks and manage and inform all stakeholders during the implementation.
Main responsibilities
Project Leadership: Manage projects from initiation to successful closure, ensuring effective handover to the relevant functions by applying established project management methodologies and best practices.
Progress & Performance Management: Take responsibility for tracking project progress, controlling scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensuring successful completion. Manage documentation, including project plans, charters, budget forecasts, project logs, and tracking tools, change management and risk mitigation.
Team Coordination: Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring that all resources are effectively aligned with project objectives. Define clear project scope and establish measurable goals and milestones.
Program/Portfolio Governance: If the project is part of a larger program or portfolio, adhere to Program Governance and report directly to the Project Director. For standalone projects, report to the Project Sponsor, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal teams and external clients, addressing progress, issues, exceptions, and potential risks. Facilitate clear and open communication to ensure all parties are aligned. Act as a strategic thought partner to the executive team, contributing to business planning, portfolio prioritization, and innovation roadmaps
Timeline & Quality Assurance: Monitor project milestones and ensure on-time delivery of key deliverables and final products, while maintaining high standards of quality across all project phases.
