YOUR ROLE
- Developing and optimizing E/E architectures and wiring solutions using PREEvision;

Performing model-based wiring harness and architecture development, with focus on wiring and hardware layers;

Developing, programming, validating and deploying custom metrics in PREEvision to evaluate architecture concepts, wiring harness optimization and automation potential;

Implementing metric-based logic to analyze splice integration, grounding strategies, network topology, circuit optimization, inline strategies, automation degree and cost/weight deltas;

Converting architecture optimization methodologies (e.g., zonal concepts, modular in-line & grounding strategies) into executable and scalable PREEvision automation workflows;

Maintaining and improving a reusable library of optimization metrics, ensuring alignment with global standards and manufacturability;

Acting within a cross-functional team collaborating closely with Advanced EE Archi-tecture (Wuppertal), TC Pune, and customer teams globally.
YOUR BACKGROUND

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Mechatronics;

Strong programming experience is mandatory (e.g., Java, Python, OCL scripting frameworks or model-rule languages);

Hands-on experience developing and deploying custom metrics, automation logic, or rule engines in PREEvision;

Experience translating engineering logic and optimization strategies into executable code;

Practical experience in model-based system engineering and method automation;

Extensive experience within EDS wiring harness design min 5 years+;

At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry;

Good communication and presentation skills;

Linguistic proficiency, English (mandatory), German (preferred);

Preferably Vector-certified application engineer/configurator
