What to Expect
As a Production Measurement Maintenance (PMM) Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the operational availability of a wide range of in line and at line measurement and vision systems. You will use your technical skills to plan and execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities and repairs. You will work in close collaboration with the maintenance team at the BiW Gigafactory Berlin to improve the reliability of our equipment and systems, minimizing or even avoiding unplanned downtime.
What You'll Do
- You check and correct errors of our measurement systems from the Siemens HMI faceplates
- You will trouble shoot the line downtimes using Siemens HMI face plate, Alarm system, Scada data and graph programs

You will maintain and trouble shoot different measurement systems such as Nikon laser radars, Eines Vision Tunnels, Polyrix Measurement systems

You will perform different maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of our systems such as Calibration and Dynamic static tests as well as Manual measurement test

You perform all required tasks in accordance with all measurement system guidelines, safety, and accident prevention regulations, including the consistent use of personal protective equipment

Maintain detailed records of the inspections and tests conducted. Provide Documents that identifies defects and reports should be prepared on the results of the inspections

Contributes to the implementation of preventive maintenance tasks

You analyze recurring errors and suggest countermeasures

Independent execution of maintenance and repair work as well as troubleshooting on electrical systems and measurement equipment

You work with cross-functional teams and external providers to solve maintenance and repair issues
What You'll Bring
- You have completed vocational training as an Electrician / Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Engineer (m/w/d), completed in Germany or officially recognized

Professional experience in an industrial environment

Experience with PLC and HMI Programming; you understand the structure of the programming languages Such as Ladder, FBD and Graph programming

Excellent communication and organizational skills

You convince with a willingness to take initiative, a passion for teamwork, and determination

You complete your tasks reliably and conscientiously, are flexible, and creative in problem-solving

You are prepared to work in a shift system (Including weekends based on the needs of the projects)

Willingness to work on suspended work platforms

Kuka and Fanuc robot’s programming is a bonus

Good English language skills required; German language skills are an advantage
