You will be deeply involved in complex customer challenges, working alongside Sales and engineering teams to translate application requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
Main Tasks:

Work directly with customers to understand application challenges and define viable solution concepts

Provide on-site application support and technical guidance during evaluations and implementations

Act as a technical lead in complex customer engagements and strategic opportunities

Translate real-world requirements into structured technical specifications and solution architectures

Support Sales in pre-sales activities, technical discussions, and solution validation

Contribute to technical positioning in competitive situations

Capture and translate voice of customer into actionable insights for product and technology decisions

Collaborate closely with Product Management, R&D, and the Application team

Degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Electronics or related field (or equivalent experience)

7+ years of experience in machine vision, optics, illumination, or related technical fields

Strong background in application engineering, systems engineering, or technical customer-facing roles

Deep understanding of image formation, lighting, and optics

Experience working directly with customers in industrial environments

Ability to translate complex technical topics into practical, scalable solutions

Strong communication and presentation skills

Fluent in German and English
