Tasks
- Digital recording and physical maintenance of incoming and outgoing product samples and sample stock.
- Inspection of incoming and outgoing product samples.
- Compilation (incl. accompanying documents) of product samples for shipment to customers and commissioning of shipments by external service providers.
- Coordination with laboratory for product samples relabelling and repacking.
- Ensuring the availability of the equipment used for sampling, testing, and shipping.
- Keeping a regular updated communication and knowledge between the selling demand and the status of the available samples at suppliers.
- Support sales team in communication with our production partners overseas related to product information, new product introductions, etc.
- Interact with sales team in communication and management of client requests and doubts related to customer projects.
- Update project follow-up spreadsheet and report monthly to sales team and management.
- Organize and support client visits to the office, together with other involved parties.
- Keep CRM register updated, supported by Sales Executives.
- Verification and evaluation of customer claims of non- DR articles with suppliers.
- Organization and review of analysis reports with external laboratories services.
- Review and approval of non - DR products samples.
- Control and maintain product retention samples.
Profile
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is eager to start or develop their career in the food ingredients industry.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured way
- A proactive mindset with a hands-on approach to daily activities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams and external partners
- A sense of responsibility and reliability in handling products, samples, and documentation
- Basic administrative and computer skills (e.g., Excel, email, or CRM systems are a plus)
- An interest in the food, beverage, or ingredients industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of German, Spanish, and/or Portuguese is considered a plus
