What to Expect
You will join a small, expert Factory Software team dedicated to maintaining the operational health of systems coordinating Tesla’s car manufacturing process. We seek candidates with direct experience supporting factory/manufacturing operations and proven exposure to implementing agentic AI solutions to optimize support workflows.
What You'll Do-
Facilitate delivery of manufacturing software systems by resolving day-to-day issues in MES and integrating systems (e.g., material flow management, application to machine integrations).

Leverage agentic AI solutions to enhance support processes, automate root cause analysis, and improve troubleshooting efficiency.

Troubleshoot technical problems, document root causes/solutions, and create reusable troubleshooting guides.

Build rapid software tools to address critical issues when permanent fixes are unavailable.

Collaborate with developers to resolve recurring problems and align with long-term system directions.

Implement automation and monitoring systems to optimize factory software utilization.

Adapt to dynamic business conditions and coordinate cross-functional process changes.
What You'll Bring-
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional ability.

Must-have: Experience supporting factory/manufacturing operations (MES, SCADA, or similar systems).

Must-have: Exposure to designing/implementing agentic AI solutions (e.g., autonomous agents for ticket triage, predictive maintenance).

Working knowledge of SQL for database querying.

Proficiency in Python, Go, or other development languages.

Ability to analyze integrated systems and their dependencies.

Demonstrated success in automating tasks (scripts, workflows).

Excellent interpersonal skills with a bias for action in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Flexibility to work 24/7 shifts (late, nights).

Nice-to-have: Understanding of queues and stream processing systems.
