The Institute of Analysis and Numerics in the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Münster, Germany, is seeking to fill two positions of a
in the research field: stochastic analysis and partial differential equations at the Institute for Analysis and Numerics at the University of Münster, Germany (Prof. Dr. Hendrik Weber), at the earliest possible date. We are offering two fixed-term full-time positions for 3 years. Full-time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.
- Independently conducting research in the field of stochastic analysis
- Collaboration in research and teaching
- Organisation of events such as workshops
- The opportunity for further scientific qualification is given.
- A PhD in mathematics is required
- A good command of written and spoken English is required
- German language skills are not required, but a desire to learn would be advantageous
- A strong publication record is required
- A strong background in stochastic analysis, the theory of PDEs, statistical mechanics and/or mathematical physics are highly desirable.
