As a Site Manager (m/f/d) at our Donauwörth site, you will lead and coordinate internal industrial activities within your area of responsibility. You will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, enable the production teams to meet delivery targets, and drive continuous improvement across quality, productivity and HSE.
Your responsibilities:

Draft quotations/offers and support contract review preparation and execution

Track tenders and specifications and align with relevant stakeholders

Coordinate and steer work across additional production areas within your scope of responsibility

Manage and prioritize projects within the unit, including schedule, resources and budget overview
-
Align and coordinate objectives across operational team leaders
-
Ensure consistency between capacity/workload planning and production planning
-
Plan and control people and material resources
-
Ensure coverage/backup planning to manage absences within the team
-
Maintain and develop customer relationships (existing and potential) in alignment with key interfaces
-
Own and steer financial KPIs for the area (e.g., revenue, productivity and performance ratios)
-
Monitor and control relevant performance ratios within the scope
-
Initiate and implement improvements in reliability, quality and productivity (e.g., Lean/Industrial Excellence)
-
Coordinate the roll-out and continuous development of Industrial Excellence standards
-
Ensure purchasing and procurement requirements are in place prior to service start
-
Ensure recurring issues are addressed in a structured way and resolved sustainably
-
Participate in coordination meetings related to aircraft handover processes
-
Actively contribute to a positive working and social environment at the Donauwörth site

Ensure compliance with labor regulations and HSE rules (health, safety, environment, hygiene)

Provide regular reporting to site/area management
Reporting & interfaces
Direct reporting line: Head of Operations
Key interfaces (internal/external): HR, Sales, Administration & Finance, Quality, further operational areas and customer contacts
What you bring:

Completed vocational training or degree (e.g., engineering, aviation, production/industrial engineering) or comparable qualification

Several years (ideally 8–10+ years) of experience in an industrial/operational environment, preferably within aviation
Technical & professional skills:

Strong understanding of the industrial and business environment
-
Sound technical understanding (e.g., mechanics, systems and processes) and the ability to translate technical requirements into operational execution

Confident handling of internal processes as well as customer and quality requirements
-
Very good MS Office skills (especially Excel, Word); ideally experience with project planning tools
-
Fluent German and English (spoken and written) is required for day-to-day stakeholder communication and technical documentation.

Experience in site/operations management and leadership within a production organization

Basic understanding of cost/financial steering (KPIs, budgets, business cases)
