Job Description
We are looking for an ITSD Intern (Local Service Desk) to join our Enterprise Technology Services tribe, based in Berlin, Germany.
This role focuses on operational excellence, asset lifecycle management, ticket coordination, and workplace organization, allowing the Service Desk team to focus on technical troubleshooting and user support.
The position provides hands-on exposure to IT operations and serves as an entry point into a future Service Desk.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records by tracking new arrivals and ensuring all hardware status updates are reflected in the CMDB.
Ensure all hardware is correctly tagged, logged, and stored.
Track asset movements, assignments, returns, and disposals.
Perform regular inventory audits and identify discrepancies.
Support the full asset lifecycle, ensuring seamless hardware onboarding for new hires and secure data decommissioning for offboarded devices.
Keep storage areas organized and audit-ready.
Support onboarding day activities.
Assist with peripheral distribution and collection.
Help coordinate meeting room equipment inventory.
Provide basic first-line assistance under supervision for standard hardware-related requests.
Support project activities such as hardware refreshes, device replacement programs, and inventory initiatives.
Qualifications

Interest in Information Technology and IT Operations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and common IT equipment.
Nice to Have
Previous internship, student job, or hands-on experience in IT support.
Familiarity with asset management or inventory processes.
