Develop electro-mechanical designs for multi-branch avionics harness in 2D and 3D.
Collaborate with cross disciplinary stakeholders to gather harness design objectives and requirements.
Create and release electrical schematics to support both flight and ground test designs on schedule.
Specify and select connectors, backshells, wires, cable jackets, and termination methods to meet mechanical, thermal, and electrical requirements.
Conduct analysis and physical testing of harnessing systems to evaluate mechanical, thermal and electrical performance.
Generate and manage BOMs, wire run lists, wiring diagrams, and installation drawings.
Work with integration teams to validate harness fit, routing, and installation.
Support functional testing and troubleshooting during vehicle integration and flight readiness campaigns.
Perform R&D investigations and trade studies to push wire harness design to new boundaries in terms of mass and cost savings.
Take technical and operational ownership for flight-quality documentation and interface compliance.
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
Relevant experience (2 – 5 years) in harness design for aerospace, automotive or high reliability systems and motivation to
participate in the NEW Space.
Proficiency with electrical CAD and harness modelling tools (Rapid Harness preferred).
Hands-on experience with formboard design, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of wire harnesses in hardware environments.
Experience with industry best-practices, workmanship quality and wiring standards.

Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
