For our production site in Sterbfritz, we are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer (m/f/d). In this role, you will act as the key interface between project teams and plant operations. Leveraging your strong technical expertise in Injection Molding, Paint, Assembly, and Supply Chain, you will ensure successful project launches and implementations while supporting the optimization and continuous improvement of existing processes. You will report directly to the Site Technical Manager.
Responsibilities
New Projects
Capacity planning and equipment requirement assessment
Collaboration with Industrial Project Teams and suppliers during installation, commissioning, and acceptance phases
Preparation of FMEAs and follow-up of corrective actions
Ensuring compliance with technical and performance specifications
Coordination of equipment testing, risk assessments, and process approvals
Validation of standards and technical documentation
Development of work instructions and safety-related procedures
Existing Processes
Identification and implementation of technical improvements to enhance productivity, quality, availability, and safety
Root cause analysis and process parameter optimization
Support and training of production teams
Coordination of material and process testing activities
Providing structured feedback to Engineering and Project Teams
Profile
Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Strong technical expertise in Injection Molding, Paint, and Assembly technologies
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a comparable role
Experience with large-scale equipment, manufacturing processes, and production methodologies
Ability to evaluate technical solutions from both engineering and business perspectives
Excellent organizational, communication, and resilience skills
Structured, independent, and accountable way of working
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Business-fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)
