Job Purpose/Overview:
The Equity Derivatives Solutions Sales is an entry level position responsible for assisting clients in hedging retail structured equity products, as well as in trading equity derivatives and implementing quantitative investment strategies. The overall objective of this role is to act as a reliable partner to our clients by facilitating their access to Markets products.
- Solution Sales to Institutional Investors and Retail distribution partners across Germany and Austria.
- Work on the full range of cross product solutions with the objective to enhance existing and develop new relationships with clients and internal partners.
- The role is set up as a generalist sales role, with a particular focus on equity derivatives, quantitative investment strategies and hedging for retail structured equity products.
- Embedded in a European and German Markets sales organisation, this role offers the full potential of Citi’s platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the full product range of Citigroup’s Equity and Fixed Income franchise
- Support the senior sales coverage on all daily tasks
- Active role in acquisition and development of new client relationships
- Contribute to building Citi’s franchise by covering some clients autonomously
- Quantitative and qualitative analyses of Markets, Products, Customers, Competitors
- Prepare Term-sheets, Marketing materials, and Presentations
- Transaction preparation, pricing, execution and post-sales service
- Automate processes for pricing client requests and increase efficiency
- Organise Client meetings with research, trading & structuring
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience, skills and capabilities
- Good understanding of finance and a genuine interest in Global Markets
- First relevant experience in markets and financial services
- Master or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, STEM or a related subject
- High levels of flexibility, team spirit and willingness to learn
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-pace environment
- PC skills: Microsoft office suite, especially Excel, Knowledge of programming languages is an advantage
- Fluent in English and German
